My name is Ben, and I’m a Psychotherapist based in Nottingham, offering both online and in-person therapy. I specialise in helping people overcome anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and the deeper emotional blocks that can hold us back from living the life we want.

As a trained ISTDP therapist, I work in a focused, collaborative way to help you get to the root of your emotional challenges. ISTDP is an evidence-based therapy model that helps people break through long-standing patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, and emotional avoidance.

 

I believe therapy should offer more than just coping strategies. It should be a space for real transformation, where you gain deeper self-understanding and the ability to build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.

EXPERIENCE


I have over 15 years experience helping individuals overcome difficulties with anxiety (both general and specific anxiety disorders), self-esteem and trauma issues.

 

In addition to this, I also have experience of working with individuals to help them overcome difficulties with depression, relational issues, and those who are dealing with the impact of significant life events.

Alongside my private work, I have experience working as a Psychotherapist and therapist supervisor within the NHS as well as several universities in the UK.
